022Cr21Ni3MoN (S32003)
Containing 1.5% Mo, combined with Cr and N to improve corrosion resistance, its corrosion resistance is better than 022Cr17Ni12Mo2 (316L stainless steel), close to 022Cr19Ni13Mo3 (317L stainless steel), is an ideal substitute for 022Cr17Ni12Mo2 (316L stainless steel). At the same time, the steel also has a high strength, can be used in chemical storage tanks, pulp and paper, building roofs, Bridges and other fields.
Features:
Duplex stainless steel corrosion resistant. They have strong resistance to inter-granular corrosion. Even in chloride and sulfide environments, duplex stainless steels show very high resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Duplex stainless steel work hardening alloy. Their micro-structure consists of austenitic phase and ferritic phase. Therefore, duplex stainless steel shows the characteristics of austenitic and ferritic stainless steel. This combination of properties may mean some compromise compared to pure austenite and pure ferrite.
